the mind might seem limitless rn but tbh you're kinda like an adventurer going 'wow! i wanna explore this new continent'
like you'll probably realise with time that you want to settle down somewhere reasonable
4:02 AM
lots of people go into tulpamancy for exploration and stay for comfort
oh and
'active forcing' is basically just sitting by yourself doing nothing but thinking (booooooo)
'passive forcing' is doing stuff so you have stuff to think and talk about (interesting, based)
passive > active
don't ever do active
isn't it a massive change in lifestyle though?
i mean, were you sitting round doing nothing for hours on end beforehand?
and do you really wanna keep interaction just locked to that specific situation?
it's better to learn passive to prepare for actual life

also 'forcing' is a dumb word, just say 'talking to [headmate]'
Luminesce: A tulpa could be the host if they've learned to switch, and take on full responsibility for the body's life & other headmates in the original host's stead(edited)

In that (uncommon) case, people refer to the host as "the original" instead
Yes, i know what you mean, i just argue that the difference between 2 separate identities is not that different from the difference between past you and present you given a big enough time frame.(edited)
I would say you can probably change your main personality faster forcing yourself than creating a tulpa and switching. When you create a tulpa you still need to "learn" that personality, but there are also a lot of steps related to the tulpamancer experience, if you do the former you just need to learn it.
